T.J. Duckett is a beast. Will not be stopped for the 1 or 2 yard line.

Was Bo Jackson a good short yardage back? That one goalline rush on MNF where he effectively ended Brain Bosworth's NFL career showed that he had amazing power.
No matter, anytime I can find to remember Bo...

Good ones mentioned already.

2 others I can think of...

Z.Crockett of Oakland and the young gun Brandon Jacobs for the G-men.

Also,S.Davis is a goalline beast as well.I can't remember how many times w/the Skins he would walk in untouched.Due to his vision or feel around the goalline I don't know but he used to score on the Eagles at will around the goalline.

Deuce McAllister is a pretty good short yardage back even though he isn't set in that role. For a big guy he's got great speed.
ADMIN edit: please note that the overall sig limit is 12k - thanks!

Are you talking about just any RBs in general, or are you talking about the guys who trot out onto the field in short yardage situations?

Marcus Allen should be tops, IMO. I can't think of a situation where he didn't produce.

A very underrated modern day guy is Marshall Faulk.
