A need player is a "coach's choice" player. I guess John Fox thought he was a suitable replacement. Though, I can't see how Jason Witten doesn't get picked ahead of Clark.

nor do i. I honestly don't see how he can be deemed as a needed player. Witten is a better blocker, faster, better hands, and overall more athletic. That may not be totally correct but it seems like witten is better than clark at those skills.
Also a wierd thing that after he plays the Bears and totally owns them that he desides to get their TE. One word as summary hmmmmmmm
yea i am a cheerleader. go team!!! give me a texans suck. go team! My top 2 favorite teams are in the top 5 picks(texans and titans).

Ah, so it's a sympathy pick for the Bears since they got trounced by Fox's Panthers. :-b

Cooley? or Witten? Cooley had a great season. Witten is better than both, but didn't really have a good year.

Desmond Clark...what a joke.

Good to see VandenBosch get recognized for the season he had. If the guy can just stay healthy he can be a very, very good player.

Witten still had a pretty good season, he just had to spend more time at the line blocking due to the Cowboys O-line woes. Witten should go, then Cooley, then nobody else.
