Honestly though I still can't see Houston going with Vince Young. It still makes sense for this team to trade down to Tennessee and take D'Brickashaw. I understand the business aspect of the game but I actually just checked the attendance records for Houston. Did you know they were 13th in attendance at home and 12th overall? It seems that even a bad team will draw folks in Texas so why go for Vince Young's draw when they could actually start building?
These questions are entirely rhetorical since it's Houston that should be answering these if they actually option to take the #1 pick instead of filling needs.
It should be interesting to see who makes trades before the draft takes place. In the senior bowl practices D'Brickashaw Ferguson has been an absolute beast. He has owned Mathias Kiwanuka during one on one drills. I could not fault the Texans, Saints, or the Titans for taking him. He could solidify the O-line for a long time.
Another senior bowl practice standout was DeAngelo Williams. This guy looks like the real deal. Whoever drafts him will likely get a bargain.
I do disagree with one of your predictions. The Bears won't draft Marcedes Lewis. They already have a ProBowl TE.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

I love the draft. It's one of my favorite things while playing Madden actually.Good read.But....
1.I think the Texans SHOULD trade down for Brickashaw. They have alot of money committed to Carr and D.D. so taking either a QB or RB is redundant it seems. They just need to not trade down too far as to miss taking Brickashaw though cause then they'd look like idiots.
2.The Eagles most glaring needs to me ARE OLB,WR and DT.I can easily see them saying w/Pinkston coming back and the development of Reggie Brown and Greg Lewis our WR's corps will be fine kinda stuff.Even though we saw what McNabb could do with a stud WR.Too bad that experience blew up in their faces.I can see them being gun-shy about pulling a similar trigger for a big name WR now.Great.So OLB is very, very likely since at DT the Eagle DO actually have some decent players who just had bad yrs.
No doubt, from a football standpoint, the Texans should trade down and pick up D'Brickashaw Ferguson...
I just find it hard to believe they can pass up a hometown kid who is as electrifying as Young is...
David Carr can be traded, IMO... I think Arizona would love to pick him up, which would free them up to draft their choice of LenDale White, Eric Winston, or Demeco Ryans with the number 10 pick... And they have the cap room to pay Carr if they have to...
I'm not sure if Kubiak gave Carr the kiss of death today or a vote of confidence...but he said that there is no reason that David Carr shouldn't be an effective and productive QB in the NFL. The espn radio lead in to the soundbyte said that Kubiak compared him to Elway and Plummer. I think Kubiak has already found the crack district in Houston.

Maybe he's warming Denver up to the notion of a replacement for Plummer...

It's got to Plummer OR Elway, no "and" involved.
I think Kubiak should be able to breathe life into Carr's career. A big majority of it though has been his lack of Oline help as well as his lack of weapons.

Yeah, they should trade down for Brickashaw, but I doubt they will. I hope they pull the trigger on Bush. So Young can fall to 3 for the Titans, I hope the Titans DO NOT end up with Leinart.
