If you were the GM of an expansion team which player in this year's draft class would you take #1?

For my money give me LT D'Brickashaw Ferguson

I'd take Ferguson as well. Any good team is built on the offensive and defensive lines. Also, with an expansion team a skill position player is going to take such a beating that by the time the team is ready to compete that player is going to break down.

If im GM of an expansion team im taking Vince young, he may not be the best long term pick, but he would give an expansion team the best chance to win any given game.

Give me a bookend franchise tackle to protect my QB's blind side for the next 12-15 years anyday...He should be Houston's pick in a trade-down as well...

If I'm an expansion team, I'm taking Vince Young. I think he'll turn out better than Leinart, and frankly the most important piece of a team is the franchise QB.

Ferguson is appealing, but with needs at every position, and the depth available at OT in this draft class, I'll select a quality prospect with the 33rd overall. Some like Johnathan Scott or Ryan O'Callaghan could fall to the 2nd round and easily become that quality left tackle.

Me, I'm taking Bush. The player with the best chance to succeed is almost always a RB, and he's a pretty good one. I don't think you draft a rookie QB for an expansion, you go find a F/A vet. Now you build your O-Line through F/A and drafting and grab a good TE and that should keep your offense afloat for a bit. At least long enough to lose enough games to get a great pick next year to draft a QB with. :-D

Vince Young if I really wanted to spend #1 and not trade it for a later round #1 and a #2 or #3

I'd take the best talent on the board and go from there. That said, I'd take Bush over anybody else on that list.

Starting a franchise from scratch? I'd take Reggie Bush hands down. He's the best talent in the draft and I think you could market Reggie very easily because of his tremendous ability.
