I have never worked with elements but you should be able to get fonts at
http://www.dafont.com/en/ you download the font you want and once you have it on your computer you move it to the folder Windows>Fonts (if you are using Windows)

ive never used photoshop elements but ull prolly learn about usin filters in the class ur gonna b takin to create sum cool effects

Elements is alright, it has many of the same features as Photoshop but only a fraction of them. I can do a lot more with Paint Shop than elements and they're about the same cost $100 as opposed to Photoshop that's about $500-600.
