This is exactly why there should not be 2 weeks between conference championships and the Super Bowl. Have we run out of things to do that we're figuring out how many times Seattle has run or passed when it was 2nd and 3-6 yards for a first down?

Ah, gotcha. It's funny, for a bunch of people who are supposedly bent on numbers and statistics I would figure this would be one of the more interesting topics.

Nevermind. Go back to that really stimulating post about Big Ben's beard or read the 63rd article about the Bus going back to Detroit...

I think we should start a new topic: "Jake Plummer's Mustache: Too Sexy or not Sexy enough?"

This obviously points out that two weeks is INDEED too long.

I had the...um...pleasure of leaving ESPNEWS on the TV yesterday.

For the three hours I didn't listen intently, they ran the Stevens/Porter soundbites back to back.

FOR THREE HOURS. And hell..it coulda been more, I finally turned the crap off.

Everything's in a magnifying glass right now. And that's one lesson I learned as an NFL fan. In years past when it really didnt matter to me who won the SB, I didn't pay serious attention to all of the media.

But now that I want to absorb all of the content, it's simply nauseating.
