How did the 95 Cowboys not make the list? :-t

'71 was truly America's team, and no one can forget the Doomsday Defense, but the "one position per franchise" rule is lame. :-t

I'm surprised none of the Pats teams were there.

I was suprised by that also.

I thought that St. Louis team is too high...no way they're #5. Everything else looks ok.

Not an awful list. A few thoughts...

There's no way the Rams should be on their AT ALL. That team squeaked by in the SB and weren't all that dominant to begin with. A nice offense, yes, an all time great team, no.

The NE teams not being on their doesn't really surprise me either. There is no denying that they had extraordinary chemistry but, again, it's not like they were unbeatable throughout the year.

I also think the '84 Niners were better than the '89 version.

Agreed. I think the Cowboys teams of the 90's were better and more dominating.

Also, The Rams of '99 were a remarkable team. Yeah they squeked by in the Super Bowl but they absolutly were dominating in the regular season. Every victory being by more than 10 points? come on man.
So they weren't the best...and may have ended the worst. SO WHAT!
