But back to the topic at hand - I am optimistic about Stallworth this year (call it homerism if you like, but I will say that I have never drafted a Saints player and don't plan to anytime soon). He did do well last year, and towards the end of the season, he seemed to be outplaying Joe Horn when they were both on the field. I think that either this year or next he will be the #1 WR in New Orleans, the question is if that position will have any fantasy value.
But I do understand what everyone is saying right now about it being Donte's year every year, and it is justified. He has not lived up to expectations yet, and right now, there are a lot of "ifs" that need to come true for a fantasy owner to feel confident drafting him....if they get a competent QB, if Donte can become the #1 WR, if he can stay healthy, if the running game is able to take pressure off of the QB (whoever that may be).
