i dont know if any of you fantasy-players out there know what yahoo will do next season about chris cooley..

but if he is still listed as an h-back, as he was this season, he can be played at running back or tight end....

therefore, a real good way to go is draft a real good tightend in about the third-fourth round (gates in third, or either shockey or gonzalez somewhere in that 4-6 rounds) and then get yourself cooley in around the 8th or wherever you think you can get him...

that way, if your te goes down you still got yoursefl a good one, and if your rb's go down or struggles, as they often do, I PLAY IN A POINT PER RECEPTION LEAGUE, he really can benefit me at rb..just sharing to all ya

I used that strategy this year, and talk about it in the TE for 2006 thread. Works only in PPR leagues.

i didnt know this had been debated to death. i havent been a member since september 04 like yourself. only people interested in the topic should reply. if not, ignore it. there are lots of newer members out there to this site.

i think this has been debated more with baseball. It alot more helpful in baseball than football. using cooley as a TE isnt that much of a great help. Hes about avg. Like i said, its been noticed, but it helps more w/ baseball i think. Good job notice'n it tho
