Pretty funny stuff!

Postby matthew18 » Mon Feb 06, 2006 1:15 pm

I posted this over on the baseball side, but then I realized that I should have put it over here since most of it is football related (at least for now).

Anyways, I was looking online for a place to take the kids tobogganing this weekend, and I came across this funny sports website..check it out if you get a chance. It's kind of like the Onion, but funny...and kind of like CRACKED, but with actual articles.

It seems like they're trying to be The Onion. But nobody can be more Onion than The Onion.

Yeah the onion's stories get you into them and you have to start looking around for something that calls you a sucker.
These are funny on their own merit. Comparing the onion is like comparing a pro skier to an amature.

I just checked it out, and am glad I did. That stuff is hysterical. It's better than the onion in my opinion. Stories are smaller and catchier, have a better flow to them and don't try and over do it. I'll definitley be checking back the next time they update it.

I like the article on Kimo Von What'sHisName...I actually wondered at some point in my video game career what real players thought of themselves in the games. I mean, there has to be some egomaniacs out there who actually get offended at this stuff.

"Peyton Manning refused to comment on the situation, but sources suggest that he is in the middle of negotiations for hiring Tee Martin as a football advisor. "

OUCH....Funny articles though from what I read!
