Kurt Warner could follow Mike Martz to Detroit.
The veteran quarterback is a free agent and said he wants to return to Arizona. But that was before his old mentor Martz agreed to take the reigns of the Lions' offense. The former NFL and Super Bowl MVP could challenge Joey Harrington for the starting job and probably would do better getting the ball to Detroit's talented receivers.

I think it could be good for Detroit to get a QB who knows Martz's offense and things and not just push Joey into a new offense. I think if they want to still use Harrington as their QB, studying under Warner a year in this offense could be a definite plus for him.
Roy Williams: 1500 yards Mike Williams: 1000 yards
Kurt Warner: 30 turnovers
Don't forget, 50 sacks.
The reason Warner gets sacked alot is because he hasn't been protected wherever he's been. In St. Louis, look at how much Bulger gets hit, same thing happened to Warner, and now look at Arizona. They had a terrible offensive line. With Detroit having more of a capability of having a solid running game than Arizona, I think Warner would do much better because they would have to respect the run as well.
Either way, Kevin Jones is going to probably have to show he can catch the ball out of the backfield on those vintage Faulk 5 yard screens that turn into 15 yard gains. If Warner goes there, I don't think it'd be all that bad. They still wouldn't have a QB for the future they could count on though.

Oh, I don't know about all this doom and gloom if Warner heads to Detroit. I mean, it really can't get too much worse that it already is. Just think Scott Mitchell with fumbilitis and you get Kurt Warner.
