Unfortunetly, I don't have a choice on the avatar ... I lost the PBC (Paper Bag Challenge) in the NFC Game .. the terms, were I had to wear the bag 'till the beginning of the season, or the beginning of the Pre-Season .. not sure.
Looks like the game didn't make it out today -- hopefully tomorrow.

Actually, all of the commercials have said June 22. Guess they pushed it back two days.
i may wait for reviews before i pick it up though... but cool premise.
God knows after a few seasons of Madden I just operate in "owner mode" anyways...
I also operate in owner mode most of the time. I have a rule though. If I can make it to the championship game by "simming" then I will actually play it and the super bowl. Plus using some of the players you've drafted can be a great deal of fun.
For example, I drafted the ULTIMATE receiver in the SEVENTH round. He is 6'7, 230 pounds, has 99 speed, 99 agility. His "catch" rating was somewhere in the 70's when I drafted him, but using mini camps I brought it up into the 90's. Talk about unstoppable. You thought throwing deep to Moss was fun...
Haven't played it yet, but the new Head Coach game seems like it would be fun for a week or two before you realized that not playing any games gets old soon. They should've just added the mode to regular Madden. I might rent it, but I certainly wont buy it.

Try fun for about 2 mins... played the demo
BTW - the game play engine is exactly Madden... the playcalling sucks, the other stuff is not fun at all.
I enjoyed football sims... this game was a big letdown.

I have the actual Head Coach game, not the demo. It rocks your socks, Sister.
There's alot of people complaining about the rosters, but the articles clearly stated you would take a team over just after the Super Bowl. Before Free Agency, the Draft, or anything like that.
If you want correct rosters, you'll have to play either online or choose "Play Now".
BTW: There's a file out for the PC version, allowing you to adjust sliders and increase the quarter time. I'm now playing w/ 7 min. quarters and it seems ALOT more realistic.
Great game over all -- and the timing couldn't of been any better. My 360 bit the dust and I have to send it back to M$ to be repaired. Now I have something to play in the meantime.
