This was exactly my first thought when I read it. I gave up after part three though. At the time, the 3-D was kinda cool, but the movie just flat-out sucked, and I quit on horror sequels forever.
I liked the last 2 jason movies jason vs freddy had some good scarry jabs and good gore and jason X was pretty cool. I hate the first friday 13 movie it just bores me but #2 that kicks butt.
I actually thought the first 2 were the best and they needed to stop after the third one in 3-d. They just keeping getting more stupid.....

I was just about to say the same thing. The fact that Bay is directing pretty much eliminates me from ever wanting to see it. Though I enjoyed Nic Cage and Sean Connery in The Rock, I can't say I've ever really enjoyed anything else in Bay's resume. Though I hear Bay is directing Transformers: The Movie, scheduled to be released in 2007. Anyways, I'm sure somehow he'll screw that up knowing how special effects driven it will likely be. Supposedly, the Transformers movie is going to be live action and I just can't imagine that looking good on camera.

yes and as a huge fan of transformers i always thought it being a live action film is pretty much the worst idea i had ever heard. i mean getting celebs to voice act in the cartoon movie was bad enough (well that and killing off starscream) but i just can't see it being good as live action.

Yeah, I really don't think I will watch a live action Transformers movie, and I was a huge fan of the show also...some things don't transfer well to live action - take Super Mario Bros. for an example.
