If this is real, this must be the worst group of parents in the world. To get to the stage where the school was so frustrated that they put up a message like this - well, it doesn't sound good, I'll say that.
Not just the worst group of parents, but the most ineffective. No reasonably organized PTA would ever let a policy like this go through.

Wouldn't surprise me. Most parents are idiots anyways when it comes to their kids. As much bitching from parents I saw when I was in High School, I find this incredibly funny. I would do the same thing if I was in the teachers' shoes.
i still don't buy it. my mother is a teacher. there is no chance that this would ever happen.

I like the irony of this page. At the top, it states "Stop misinformation" but right under that is an advertisement saying "Your input required"

I bet it's the same school that those kids gave the gym teacher $1 to sit out of class.

I don't like this...
where is says "this child will be failed regardless of his or her academic performance, this lost me. If children are still learning what they need to learn, why bother with attendance punishments?
Granted, this statement is mostly geared toward the academic policy of my college (grrrrr), but its still irritating.
