take the best player available. the one that will score the most points. or take the best available rb and then again. and then a wr.

rb
rb
wr
rb
wr
qb

depending on how deep the league is and roster settings i usually draft something like that.

I tinkered and implemented something similar to this, going RB-WR-WR-RB-RB in the first 5 rds. last year. I may do the same this year as the separation between the very top tier WRs and the middle tier seemed far greater than all of the names in the 2nd tier of RBs. I may also toy with grabbing Gates in the 2nd rd. this year depending on the league. Other than that, I remain flexible depending on the flow of the draft. I'm pretty sure I won't grab a QB pre rd. 7 though.

It all depends on the flow of the draft so I don't stick to a certain draft order. But if I had to make one up it would look like this

RB
RB
WR
WR
RB
TE
QB
.

DEF

I think a lot depends on who is available when you pick, because I generally succumb to the 'draft the best player available' concept. But it also depends on the scoring and number of players at each position...but to keep it short, in a standard 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1D/ST league, I would go with:

RB
RB
WR
WR
QB
RB
WR
If you only start 2 WR or if you have a flex, then I'd would change that second WR to an RB, and change the third RB to a WR.

i have no set plan when coming into a draft. I dont say "i want to take RB in the first, WR in the second, ...etc. I dont see how you can really determine who you are going to take beforehand.

I don't really have a specific structure I follow. I almost always take a RB first, I'll rarely ever take a QB first. It all depends on who is out there for my picks, I tend to either go:

RB/RB/WR/WR

or

RB/WR/RB/WR

but it all depends on who is there. I have had drafts before where I have went 3 or 4 RBs to start it off because they were the best value there. I never stick to a specific structure because it is always dependent on so many other things. I do believe that RBs are the core of the team though so when I am split I tend to fall that direction....that's about as structured as I get.
