i'm throwing together a pot of sirloin chili today because it's just so bleeding cold out...and it sounds good.
trying to figure out what all i need to put in there. anyone see anything that i'm leaving out? should i add a pound of ground beef too? this is just for me, and i was just planning on making it with the 1 lbs. of sirloin that i have. thoughts?

whole tomatoes/crushed tomatoes
kidney beans
black beans
beef broth
tomato juice
chili powder
peppers (red, green, jalepeno)
cumin
white pepper
salt
oregano

I usually toss in a bay leaf or two. Do you ever use coriander in your chili? It adds a bit IMO.
Instead of tomato juice, think about using V8 if you have it.
I know I shouldn't need to ask because I know you're a socially responsible person and all, but you DO have cinnamon rolls to go along with your chili, right?
and Beer. Dark Beer actually any beer. Some people prefer guiness type or simply Corona. Makes a huge difference i think.
