Breaking News! It looks like the substance that Ricky test positive for was NOT marijuana. It may possible be a LEGAL substance related to the holistic medicines/herbs he may be taking. If this is the case, he is not done yet people!
From Miami Herald:
Ricky Williams indeed failed a recent drug test, but the drug Williams tested positive for wasn't marijuana. "This whole thing is a little confusing,'' one source told the Miami Herald. "I'll just leave it at that. The best way to say it is he violated the program." There is some belief that Williams has tested positive for legal supplements he's taking in connection to his yoga and holistic medicine practice. A possible appeal wouldn't be heard until April, which means we get a full offseason of Ricky updates again. Feb. 20 - 8:03 pm et

I feel bad for peopel who do fantasy football drafts in feb or before
If they opt to draft in Feb or before, they should be wise to stay away from this head case.
Why would you want to stay away from him? yes he has risk but if you can get him in the 5th or 6th round and he goes to Denver you are golden. I realize this is not what happened but taking calculated risks is what fantasy football is all about.

Why would you want to take him? IF he goes to Denver which likely won't happen. They'll take TO and fill the bigger WR need than take a chance on Rickey. I'm just not sure his head is into playing football anymore.

I drafted him in my league but we have a 6 round keeper draft where we would only keep 4 of them but it allows us some options in keeping players. I got him in the 5th round, after I had already gotten all my keepers so it was definitely a chance worth taking and I don't regret it in the least especially since it looks like this isn't the last we have heard of this.
