I think that Gore is going to win the starting job in camp and rush for over 1,000 yards. Barlow will probably b1tch and complain and get shown the door like Winborn.

Gore should be the starter and I think that he will get 750 yards and 5 TD's.He can be better but not right now with all the problems on SF's team right now.

gore and barlow will split (at least the first half of the season) around 55/35 with Gore getting the more generous share. the rest depeends on whether Gore can handle without injury the workload. the stats of either depends on how much our oline can gell together, whether we grab a vet and/or some nice talent in some of more needed posisions.

if we can get our oline to gel add a vet whatever, and keep people from running up scores on our pass defense, of course their stats will look better.

Don't throw Barlow out just yet. Supposedly Nolan has been pleased with him and I think he'll get his share of carries. Gore and Barlow should be the committee but the wild card in this is if Hicks comes back. If he does, he may force Barlow out of town and share the load with Gore.

I read this too...

and with the development of SF's young line, and hopefully (for you) the addition of some more talent, Barlow can still be a force.

Barlow is my #1 sleeper this year.

Gore-60%
Barlow-40%

I think they will get around 1400 yards together. So:

Gore- 840
Barlow- 560

I believe that Gore will have the starting job by the time we are half way through the season. He is my top sleeper for the year, as I do believe he could be successful when he gets the load of the carries. I predict 1000 yards for him and 6 TDs.

there are no sleepers on this team in fantasy football terms. i think the 49ers are going to be better and nolan loves to run the ball. but i think nolan also loves rb by commitee and neither guy will be reliable. the way i see it:

barlow = 725 yds rushing, 150 yds rec and 5 total td's
gore = 550 yds rushing, 375 yds rec and 7 total td's

i think gore will be used more in the passing game and will be a more valuable player than barlow.
