Ravens to Franchise Tag J. Lewis

I think the combination Culpepper/Taylor is much better than Boller/Lewis. I also think Drew Brees would be a good fit in Bal.

Looks as if the Ravens may have a shot at the following guys in the off-season:

John Kitna
Brian Griese
Daunte Culpepper
Kerry Collins
Drew Brees

Why is Aaron Brooks never on anyone's available QB lists? I know some people don't like him but he's been a perennial top 10 QB (except for last year) despite all the pessimism. And I know that fantasy stats don't mean success in the NFL, but at the very least he does have a ton of potential.

Honestly, I forgot about Brooks... Oh, and I wouldn't bet the farm that New Orleans cuts him when they draft Leinart... There is every possibility they will want some bust insurance, and I'm not so sure Adrian McPherson provides that...

I don't think you need bust insurance with Leinart. He is pretty much as safe as they come for QBs.

I wouldn't say all that... a lot of people say that

a) he has a ceiling, and he might be at it (granted he's a Heisman winner, but we'll see how he transitions)
b) he was a system QB, protected by one of the best lines in college football, and was surrounded by talent

Granted out of the Big Three (or Big two-and-a-half... no Cutler love here) he's definitely the most likely to transition over with the least amount of problems (the most NFL ready, so to speak), but its really a question mark for any QB.

And I still like Omar the best (even if it betrays Longhorn pride).

Leinart has a noodle arm and played with great weapons and protection against weak oppontents in college. I think he has BUST written all over his face. But time will have to tell that. And by bust i mean he'll have a decent career but not a great one. or even a very good one.
