I heard (NFL Network) that Shell isn't interested in having Collins back this year and Collins doesn't want to come back - he's due a roster bonus on March 3 of a couple million so he would have to be dumped before then. Where does this leave the Raiders as far as a QB for next year - what are their plans???

It's hard to picture a "rookie" QB under center in Oakland. I'd be very surprised if Walter was the starter opening day.

I can't imagine someone under 30 starting, much less QBing for the Raiders. ;-7

However, in all seriousness, I think they'll take a run at bringing in Aaron Brooks, but someone will probably have the coffers to pay him more, so they'll probably have to settle for Josh McCown. Maybe Patrick Ramsey.

Yeah, it appears the Raiders are destined for another "veteran" QB pickup in the offseason. Which one is worth picking up? Who knows. I don't think any of the other existing QB's in Oakland can be expected to shoulder the load.

They wouldn't go after Brees would they? 8-o

Brooks might not be bad...he does pass for a ton of yards several times a year and could be decent with Moss, but he's just goofy with the ball.

Whoa... a healthy Brees in Oakland makes me smile alot when I think about my FF team which has both Jordan and R Moss on it... and, it makes their TE attractive too. :-D

I think the Raiders will go for C-Pepp no matter what. Only time will tell...
