I'm in that Wu-Tang mood tonight
Listenin' to Wu-Tang Forever Disc 1.

"It's Wu MFers Wu-Tang MFers."
"Life is like video footage
Hard to edit, directors, that never understood it
I'm too impulsive, my deadly corrosive dosage
attack when you least notice through explosive postage
I don't play, the rap souflee sautee for the day
Ruler Zig-Zag-Zig A, Leg Leg Arm Head
Spread like plague, we drink Hennessee by the keg
I got the golden egg plus the goose
Eighty proof, Absolut, mixed with cranberry fruit juice
Ginseng boost, I got yo' neck in a noose
Keep my money rico, the rap star twinkle killer instinct
sixteen bar nickle sell more copies than Kinko
Grow like a fetus with no hands and feet to complete us
and we return like Jesus, when the whole world need us

Method Man:

Is it appetite for destruction
Slap a murder rap on this production, I touch somethin trust nuttin
Iron Lung/Twisted Metal
I see em duckin my dart gun, bustin, from every angle
Worldwide total carnage, the sickest flow
that be code named Agent Orange, killing you slow
It's only right you pay homage
to those that's bout to blow like that stuff up your nose, solid
as a rock when I strike target, ver-bal
Be screamin on you like a drill sargeant, her-bals
got me where I wanna be right now, don't know the time
Check the hour on your sundial, watch me shine
Drunk off of cheap wine
Each line be on point when I speak mine
On behalf of my crew, SUUUUUUUUUUU, and to the Wu
Thirty-Six more deadly Chambers, to take you through"

They still ain't nothing to F' Wit. ;-D
Keep it lit.

This album seriously competes with IV for not only Led Zeppelin's best album, but the best album in general.
"Whole Lotta Love" is the sexiest riff ever. I just want to grind my hips every time I hear it. Pretend you didn't read that.

it defeats IV in my book, but is overshadowed by houses of the holy.
not by much. and if houses of the holy didn't have the crunge, it would be the greatest rock album of all time.

where is that confounded bridge?

You really think Houses of the Holy is their best? You must prefer the mellow Led Zeppelin style more. I dig the straight up rock and roll of II better.

Houses has some epics and some goofy songs (of which "Dancing Days" is okay, "D'Yer Mak'er" is good, but "The Crunge" is bad). "Over the Hills and Far Away" is the highlight for me.

It's a great album, and better than anything a normal band could produce. But in Zeppelin's catalogue I would rank it fifth.

1. IV
2. II
3. I
4. III
5. Houses of the Holy
6. Physical Graffiti
7. In Through the Out Door
8. Presence

Right now I'm at work listening to stupid people whine about their current or former employers.

I'm a bit angry right now.

Could use some Pink Floyd to calm down.

Echoes, here I come...

I'm trying to write the conclusion of my dissertation and am listening to lawnmowers and leafblowers outside. I guess I shouldn't complain since at least my apt. complex pays people to keep it looking nice, but I could really do without it.

MP3 player, here I come. (will be listening to the Arctic Monkees)

Testament-live at the Fillmore

Awesome band live. Seen them a few time at the Ritz in Detroit. Seen Sepultura open for them once, that was an incredible show. Alex Skolnick is an incredibly talented guitarist.
