This album seriously competes with IV for not only Led Zeppelin's best album, but the best album in general.
"Whole Lotta Love" is the sexiest riff ever. I just want to grind my hips every time I hear it. Pretend you didn't read that.
it defeats IV in my book, but is overshadowed by houses of the holy.
not by much. and if houses of the holy didn't have the crunge, it would be the greatest rock album of all time.
where is that confounded bridge?
It's over there >>>>>>>>>>>> wanna buy it?
Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite topics
I agree about II being one of their best, they really borke out with it.
IV is a rivoting album, I think it's a bit more compelling to listen to because of the lyrics on all the songs kind of mystical.
But really Presence is their master piece. Perfectly produced written and musically executed. It's got more tinty edge to it but the music lyrics and sound quality (remember this was released on vinyl) are all amazing. here are my unchallengable Zeppelin rankings. p.s. the Crunge is awewome.
Houses of the Holy
In through the Out Door.
Did you know Jimmy Page wrote the sound track to Death Wish II?
