No. He was the 2nd main dude. Ric Ocasek is the main dude everyone knows as the Cars main singer.

The Cars are one of my top ten favorite bands ever and sadly, there's no chance of any reunion. Lead singer and guitarist, Ben Orr, died of pancreatic cancer in 2000. Orr was just 53 years old.
