Mushroom Jazz vol. I. Really sweet CD, I got all five and they are awesome for relaxing and doing work too. I highly recommend it to people. It is more beats mixed with Jazz, and a little bit of rapping. But, consciouses and very talented rapping. Not your average stuff.

Isn't that an oxy moron? I actually think some rappers are clever and can be intelligent. It's just that 99% of them would rather talk about getting drunk at a club, or laffy taffy or milk shakes or burfdays, or... well i could go on and on.
You should go out and listen to "You Like My Style"-Shortie No Mas it's off of Mushroom Jazz Volume 5. Very good, and the rapper happens to be very talented and a girl. Not heard too often. Plus, there is only rapping on a few tracks, the rest are just beats mixed with jazz and other stuff. Very pleasant to the ears.
