well, at least with GB, it's over:
Packers released WR Terrence Murphy.
Murphy injured his neck last season, revealing a spinal cord condition. He contends he's healthy enough to play, but the Packers' doctors disagree. He is now subject to waiver claims, but it appears his career could be over. Apr. 21 - 7:14 pm et

Sorry to say, I never thought he was a good pick with the WRs we had going into last year's draft.

I really hope he makes it, you never want to see a player's career cut short.

it was a strange pick, I'll agree, but it sure would be nice to have him healthy and playing for us this year. Thompson is wierd, supposedly he was going to pick Roddy White with our pick if Rodgers didn't fall to us.

I liked the guy and really wanted to see him come back.. I'd rather him stay off the field then chance being crippled forever, though.

Shame to see him go.
