Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Philadelphia Eagles are set to sign free agent C LeCharles Bentley (Saints). Bentley's interest in joining the Eagles is so strong that the only thing preventing the signing from happening Friday, March 3, was the delay in the start of free agency.

Not saying it won't happen, but I'd say this is jumping the gun a bit.

Big hit to the Saints o-line, Bentley is the perfect successor to Fraley. As usual the Eagles are making nice moves.

Yeah, but when your RB is your best WR, and your QB is your best short-yardage RB, why bother handing off.

Seriously, I'm glad to see this. I think Guard was a more pressing issue, but horrendous blocking killed that offense much more than McNabb's injury or Reid's play calling.
