now lets see...we desperately need a linebacker or two, a cornerback, a defensive tackle, a center, a guard, a quarterback....
if the saints cant re-sign bentley, that may very possibly be enough reason to actually keep aaron brooks and trade their 2nd pick for more picks
Once free agency hits, the market will be flooded. Especially if the cap is not increased. The only thing you'll need then is get the tight wad Benson to open up his wallet.
I guess this is a good pick up for the bejeagles, a good center can really increase the affectiveness of the whole interior line.

Anyone here find anything to back this source up?
Philadelphia Inquirer, KFFL, FantasyInsideSource, Channel4Sports, etc.
Excellent. Thanks
Sorry. I made up the last two. I did read about it in the Inquirer today and KFFL is just quoting the Inquirer. So we really only have that rag to go on:
Eagles | Team set to sign Bentley Thu, 2 Mar 2006 21:34:11 -0800
Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Philadelphia Eagles are set to sign free agent C LeCharles Bentley (Saints). Bentley's interest in joining the Eagles is so strong that the only thing preventing the signing from happening Friday, March 3, was the delay in the start of free agency.
I think if it really goes through, it would be good. Maybe the eagles will be able to run on third and one instead of the pass that fools no one--its okay to do that every now and again, but still.
Protecting mcnabb and getting some short yardage run blocking is essential fro this team.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.
