i heard that on sirius, but it hasn't been posted elsewhere.

Profootball talk says a deal was in place, and he reniged.

whatever. they should get hutch. although this wouldn't have been an issue if the labor talks didn't keep getting pushed back etc.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.

It was reported on Sirius radio that Bentley has signed with the Browns for $6M per year, 6 years. Everyone else is just reporting that he is in Cleveland visiting the team.

Wow, those are some fantastic signings by the Browns. THeir line looks to be pretty solid all around at this point:
G Joe Andruzzi
G Cosey Coleman
C Jeff Faine
T Ryan Tucker and now
C LeCharles Bently and
T Kevin Shaffer

That looks like one damn solid line on paper. Does anyone see Bently being shifted to guard with Faine already a solid center? I would imagine he remains at center, but he has been to the pro-bowl at both positions.

That's a heck of a good start for Cleveland.

I figured this would happen, but got sceptical when all the eagle talk started. Good Signings!

I am defintely liking the possibibility that Droughns, Winslow, Braylon, and Frye will develop into a nice tandem of offensive talent. They are all relatively young too, making this all the more interesting. Good time to be a Browns fan, methinks.
