Culpepper raises race issue in boat party charges

Sorry if this has been posted already, personally I think Culpepper is better off just shutting up and quietly resolving the case:

Attorneys for Minnesota Vikings players Daunte Culpepper and Moe Williams accused a prosecutor Wednesday of selectively charging black men and ignoring possible crimes by two white men in the boat party sex case.

It was actually CPepps attorneys who brought it up, but to try to get someone else in trouble to make yourself look better is just a dumb idea. I shouldn't have to explain why.

as much as i usually detest playing the race card they do have a very valid point. whether they are right or wrong in the end everyone that participated in the said acts (and the captain freely admited to it) should be charged with the same thing they are.

This whole mess can be blamed on the players wives. If they were taking care of business at home none of the players would have the urge to hire hookers for a sex cruise.

Just kidding but it reminded me of what Chris Rock said about the whole Clinton/Monica ordeal:

Do you know for a fact that there weren't white people on the boat that did the exact same thing and didn't get charged?

In some cases it is bogus but it's not like Daunte is some thug who has a three page rap sheet.

Why wasn't everyone involved charged? Seems fishy to me.

I'm not saying he was right or wrong. I'm just saying don't dog him out when you have no idea what the facts of the case are.
