Reactions to Culpepper's Request?

Just want to hear what other Viking fans think about the latest story going on with Culpepper. Even though he said he'll still honor his contract if nothing else works out, does anyone else feel like if he's demanding either a trade or contract-termination that the team's better off without Daunte? I know he's been very valuable up until last year. His play, on and off the field, and getting injured all happening in 2005 just brought up a lot of questions. The Vikings proved they can win without him (whether it's with Johnson at the helm, or someone else through FA when it finally starts). DC's been great in the past (pre-2005). but as it's been suggested elsewhere, maybe it's time for a new start for both sides?

Okay, then - I guess I'll answer my own question to start this off since I heard the update when arriving home from work this evening. Culpepper is officially on his way out as of tomorrow. The big question is - to where? It hasn't been told yet who the team is (but it's not Oakland, who might try to get him away from this other team). The mystery will be solved by this time Friday.
