Vikings | Contract update: R. Longwell
Sat, 11 Mar 2006 15:44:56 -0800

ESPN.com's John Clayton and Len Pasquarelli report Minnesota Vikings PK Ryan Longwell agreed to a five-year, $10 million deal with the team. Included in the deal is a $3 million signing bonus.

Phooey. He was my number one hopeful to replace Cundiff in Dallas.

Liked this guy for a while... solid career, used to bad weather (which will help Minny in divisional games, I suppose ... they do have a dome).

Kicks the ball Long and Well... good signing, Minny.

Hey, anyone remember last offseason when I was trying to explain to someone that Paul Edinger sucked, and wouldn't produce in Minny? Hahahahahaaha.

From Green Bay to Minny eh... interesting.

Too bad, we could have used him in Washington. Really solid kicker.
