The Vikings have signed G Steve Hutchinson to an offer sheet worth $49 million over seven years, including $16 million in guaranteed money.
The deal has a huge cap number in the first year, which will discourage the Seahawks from matching it. They have seven days to do so. Seattle has to be regretting not placing the franchise tag on him in order to get draft pick compensation. This is the biggest contract for an interior lineman in league history by far. And the difference between the transition and the franchise tag for them was less than a million. If they can't match this offer due to not franchise tagging Hutchinson, someone in their management needs to get fired.

The Seahawks front office has got to be feeling pretty stupid right now. I guess we will finally see if SA is a product of the great line or if he really ie an elite back.

That's still only one lineman of 5, and not the best of the bunch (though the 2nd best). SA should still be alright.

But what SA run was, arguably, that left side. That leaves a big hole over there.

And lets take a look at the Vikings left side... McKinnie and Hutchinson. Now McKinnie is not Jones, but hes a gamer, and that will be dominating, IMO.
