What is the pack doing? They haven't really signed anyone big, and they have all this money.. they really do need to pick atleast someone up.. i knew thompson wasn't big on the whole free agency thing but this is just terrible.

Yup. Good signing too. I would have liked to see him in the Brown and Orange.

Yeah I'm pretty surprised the Packers aren't one of the more aggressive teams right now, considering the team is in shambles with a ton of question marks.

I don't think most of it can be fixed by overpaying for veteran FAs. Getting back will take a few years. They need to have a few solid drafts and some smart signings.

Hopefully they're trying to work out deals with younger players. I say they should ignore most of their departing players, who are over 30, and just try to bring in youthful talent, regardless of position (a lot like what Crennel seems to done for the most part with Cleveland).

That being said, they should've been in contention with Witherspoon, or Archuleta, or Bentley and Schaffer. The young guys are flying off the boards quick, and GB should really be pursuing those players.

The signing of Kampan was a solid move on their part, and only signing Green to a 1 year deal was another smart move. But I would think the Pack would pursue some decent free agent wide recievers like Givens, Bryant, Jurevicious, etc.. They cut A. Chatman and J. Walker is refusing to play for them.
