$30m, 6 years, $10m bonus, same as the others

let me be the first to tell you that I'm loving "cap hell" and "overspending"

I guess Daniel Snyder hasn't learned anything. That's a bit high for a player like Carter, but who am I to complain. If they want to overpay for Randle-El and Carter, they can deal with cap hell later on.

WHat do you know... another phantom Redskins spending.

Any NFC East fans want to pool their money together and hire somebody to take out Snyder?

This signing is so far jsut a rumor so Im not going to get to excited yet. Carter would be a very good signing, much more important than El or Archuleta.

Still waiting for "cap hell" :-B

Somebody check the new CBA....it must say $102 million cap limit....EXCEPT the Redskins...they can spend whatever the heck they want! :-?

I still say this doesn't bode well for current Skins' players...not at all. The mighty pen will be cutting down players left and right very soon.... :*)

Why would we be signing players jsut to cut our other players? :-?

Bottom line is this. EVERY team in the NFL COULD do this if they wanted. They just don have the cash to make it happen. All hail the mighty Dan!

Pretty sure this is official now. Someone please tell me where the Skins get money for this stuff. I'm happy but confused.

Did I miss the part where the NFL turned into MLB? How is this possible? Where's the salary cap?

I dunno if Andre Carter is worth that much, but the Redskin's are getting a pretty solid player. Wish the Niner's would have resigned him.

congrats skins. you now have exactly one year before your team will self destruct. maybe snyder is going for the super bowl this year and retiring when all hell breaks loose in washington.
