What's oakland to do now?

Do you see oakland moving up in the draft to take matt or jay? Or What else do you guys see them doing? I thought for sure one of the two good FAs would go there..

Well, I could see Oakland trading up with New Orleans to get Leinart at No. 2. Or Young, whichever they want.

But I also think Oakland could be a potential landing spot for Aaron Brooks, who figures to be cut or traded at this point. The Saints are not going to keep him on with his $8 million cap figure next year.

I think that they can stay where they are and land one of the QBs. I don't see a need for them to trade up. With NO out of the running for a QB now, only TEN and NYJ are likely to take a QB before OAK chooses. So that would leave them whoever falls from Leinart, Young, and Cutler.

Oakland better hope it's Cutler or Lienart.. I don't think that Vince would do good in that system. He would be best in Ten, behind his mentor.

Eh....should have kept Collins and went after some defense...the REAL problem with this team. I've said all along Collins' has been nothing but a scapegoat (That became obvious when they benched him late in the season).

Now that C-Pep and Brees are off the board, any QB they pick up in FA will be a step down from Collins. I think they're now forced to try for Matt or Jay.

EDIT: I don't know if Matt will fit. If I'm not mistaken, he's not known for a strong arm, is he? Oakland is a verticle team, and they need a strong armed QB to sling the ball...the whole reason they brought Collins in the first place. Jay might be their target.

Tennesses is now poised to land Leinart and reunites with Chow (barring a trade by NO for the #2 position). Now they have 3 qbs in Mc Nair, Leinart, Volek. They wont keep 3 QBS so Volek gets the axe. Lands on his feet in Oak.

I'd like to see his longball thrown to Moss....If Volek could make Bennett a star, imagine what he could do with a healthy Moss...
