Will "Best Ever" Demps signs with NYG

He never really impressed me with his talent, but you cant question the guy's heart and work ethic. Being a noname coming out of college, walking on to the Ravens gets some respect from me. Shouldbe able to help out the Giants none the less. I will miss the attitude he brought to the team

As a Giants fan I'm excited about all of these signings. It's great to see the Giants front office aggressively addressing their needs. Also, these signings could help sway Arrington's mind if he wants to be a part of an up-and-coming defense (not to mention face off against his old team). I know Arrington isn't the greatest LB in the league, but if the Giants can sign him he's going to instantly add intimidation and play-making capabilities to this D, which the Giants have lacked since LT retired.

ESPNews reports the contract signed by New York Giants FS Will Demps was a five-year deal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Crazy Demps... apparently the Giants were heavily pursuing this guy. Hope they overpaid...

But even if he's a Giant, I can't bring myself to hate Demps. Gotta rep Aztec pride ... you understand.

demps is a hard nose player who is a good tackler.... though he doesnt have good speed... good guy.. wanted the ravens to keep him, but would rather have a michael huff or jimmy williams type of player

I am pretty sure he was referring to Demps' alma mater - The San Diego State Aztecs, not his racial heritage.
