Excellent addition for the Browns. He is everything you could want in a player, skill-wise and leardership-wise. The Browns have done some good things this offseason. Looks like a balanced team that is on the rise.

McGinest may not help bring them a championship or division title, but I think he's worth the money because he's essentially an on-field coach for Crennel's defense. Surround him with young talented LBs, and let him captain the defense, and they'll probably adapt to the 3-4 much quicker. Nice move Browns.

I absolutely agree Maddog. He was brought here for his pass rushing ability and leadership qualities to help out our new linebacker(s) we will get from the draft.

4 Mil a season? Overpaid.

Saying that, McGinest is a class act and should be instrumental in teaching the youngester how to properly play the game. I guess it costs that much for veteran leadership these days.
