Jabar Gaffney - WR - PHI - Mar. 16 - 8:00 am et Jabar Gaffney agreed to a one-year contract with the Eagles. Gaffney caught 55 passes in 2005 and was an underrated third-down threat for the Texans. It's uncertain how he'll fit into Philadelphia's attack, but he'll probably compete for the No. 2 and No. 3 receiver roles. Mar. 16 - 8:00 am et Source: Philadelphia Inquirer
everyone on the team is potentially a number two. I mean brown MIGHT be a 1.5 this season, but pinky, gaffney and lewis seem like all the same thing, fast, not so physical.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.

McNabb still did fairly well before TO came along. Of course, a lot of his pass yards were to the RB's, but he still put up decent numbers.
Sure, Gaffney isn't a big name acquisition, but he has a ton of speed and size that can be utilized by the Eagles offense. Who knows...maybe in a new scheme he'll thrive. Not likely, but you Eagles fans can hope!

This isn't really that bad of signing. He's only been in the league 4 seasons, and on a horrible texans team. Gaffney could thrive on philly, besides who's his competition? todd (don't hit me) stinkston
