Not a very exciting signing, but it could be pretty important for the Rams. Just look how much they needed Martin and Fitzpatrick to play last year.

Yeah, not bad. Obviously not a super-star type QB, but a decent back-up incase Bulger goes down. Wonder if this signifies the end for Jamie Martin or Ryan Fitzpatrick?

I'm really surprised the Gussy is still making money in the league.
But he proved to be pretty capable last season.

It signals the end for one of them because most NFL teams only carry 3 QBs on their roster.. not 4.

I'm unaware of the contract situations of those guys, but my guess is that they will hold on to Fitzpatrick and wave bye-bye to Martin. I think Martin's an unrestricted free agent and I highly doubt they re-sign him.

Yeah, I see this as a huge signing for SJax owners. He was great last year before Bulger went down and then his value dropped immensely. I think he'll still be solid w/Frerotte. I can draft him next year w/a lot more confidence.

Jamie Martin is not under contract. I believe he visited Buffalo recently.

Frerotte will be the #2 QB, Fitzy will be #3.
