A. Simmons Returns to the NFL

Postby TheOneManShow 26 » Fri Mar 17, 2006 4:17 pm

Anthony Simmons signs a 1 year $1.5 million contract with the New Orleans Saints via ESPN.

I know there are a lot of Seahawk fans on this board, so could you please give me some insight on his play and how good he is.

And does anybody know what postition he plays (as in WLB, MLB, SLB?)

I know he's played both inside and outside in his career and was pretty good in his prime. Solid signing by the Saints. He should have a little bit left.

He is only 29 and he took off an entire year to rehab and work on his wrist. Im hoping he has more than just a lil bit left in the tank.

Go Sign Will Allen and get the TRIFECTA

Well, considering he signed a 1 year deal I dont know that the Saints are expecting a whole lot.

Or maybe the Saints are just making sure he is ok... Good signing and a great bargain I think.
