A statue...like Michael Vick :-b

This is completely off the charts, but if Oakland can, I think they would be very well served by Atlanta's Matt Schaub. I just don't like Brooks as a QB at all. He has talent, but in terms of other things you need to bring to that position, he lacks sorely.

Remember when Moss complained when he had Culpepper at QB?

First Collins, and now possibly Brooks. :-o

hello??? if the raiders need a scrambling qb, then they should wait until the draft, when they can get vince young. he is going to fall to them with the recent signing of drew brees to the saints.

Contrary to popular belief, Aaron Brooks is NOT a scrambling QB. Unless by scrambling you mean dropping back in the pocket 25 yards and getting sacked.

I called Brooks to Oakland the day he was cut. I think it would be a real good fit. If he started their and Moss is healthy he could be a nice pickup as your #2.

This is true. More true than it was early in his career.

Mobile, sure. Scrambling, not really.

kerry Collins is basically a pilon out there. Anyone is an upgrade in mobility ... including Brooks, and that is something the raiders could use from that position

For what its worth, I don't mind Brooks as a QB. I would, however; like to see the Raiders give Andrew Walter a shot. He was very good at Arizona. Brooks would be a great contingency if Walter faulteed. Brooks is not the mentor type though. At this point the Raiders need a vet that is able and willing to mentor a young qb like Walter or Young if he is drafted.

I don't think Aaron Brooks is a bad option in Oakland....

But, I would prefer Jay Cutler if I was an Oakland fan....

I agree I like Cutler over Brooks at this point. I just don't see brooks getting it done any better than collins.
