sounds like he'd fit it with the oakland raiders, portland trailblazers, or miami hurricanes.....

no big deal though..most nfl players are this way...wont get off cell phones for or respect authority...

just like most overpaid politicians...they know they can get away with almost whatever they want

Naaa..I don't think there's any CS in his future. I'll even go out on a limb to say the resisting arrest will be dropped. He'll pay a small fine for the tags and that'll be the end of it.

Sidebar, completely agree...but what kinda tool? I say needle nose pliers... :-b

My take on this is that:

1) He thinks he's above the law because he's a pro athlete. Um I don't think he's alone in that regard.

2) This is not a cause for concern about him losing time on the football field or hurting his career with crime. He didn't go looking for trouble... Trouble just found him and he reacted quite badly to it.

3) It's a good thing they didn't look in the glove compartment and find all the doobie that he was "holding" for Michael Irvin.

yeah well he needs to act like a man.
Idiot, you think these guys would learn to cooperate with the cops.
And he's not that good of a WR.

I have to wonder how much that plays into some of the athlete arrests. It wouldn't surprize me if athletes are targeted on some level. Maybe that is what Stallworth was reacting too. That and his yeast infection flaring up probably made him pretty surly.
