TOOMER...gotta love him

Postby Clevelander » Sun Sep 21, 2003 4:18 pm

heading in the direction of a career yr. glad i've got him this yr. on all my teams as i thought he would move his way up to a top 5 stud. yes, its only 3 games but i just have to say something for his performance thus far ...

anyone else loving his numbers...

I love him so much ..it hurts..just kidding. Well he is looking real great. But I benched him this week to play Torry Holt and Moe Williams, for the 2 reasons;
1) Amani would be covered by Champ Bailey.
2) Torry Holt and Moe Williams had a great matchup.
I hope I did not screw up.

somehow toomer continues to get overlooked as one of the elite wr's and his owners with the foresight to draft/acquire him early continue to love having him on their squads. the guy is a stud, and even better, he is consistent.

I've got him.... He won the week for me in week 2.... He would've helped me knock off the number 1 guy in our league and win the week in week 3, except I also have Travis Henry who amazed with -2 points yesterday....

Yeah, Toomer is consisently overlooked as a top WR. I got him as the overall 39th pick in my draft and felt lucky that he fell that far.

Collins to Toomer has been a great connection this year. I actually the whole giants offense with exception to Shockey is underated. Collins, Toomer, Hillard and to a certain extent, Tiki are all underated. Maybe it's all of the giant haters out there!

Actually, I can't stand him. If he would not have done half as good, I would be 3-0. instead, I am 2-1, I don't like him.

I could not believe all the peolpe in this forum that were down on Toomer prior to Week 1.

I was a little worried I made a mistake picking him up in the 5th round as my #2 WR.

To all the neasayers,

Here's mud in your eye !
