That's a better deal than the laptop I bought in November for sure. With that Radeon X1400 card, you can even play Oblivion with decent settings. And if you can play Oblivion, you can play anything now and anything that will be released for the rest of the year.

I need to get a laptop for university, but I haven't saved up enough cash to get this one yet.

I guess I will have to wait for the next deal.

Eh, I've seen better. If you stack the current 35% off EPP coupon, 4-12% standard EPP discount, and the 10% coupon out right now you can get it a little lower. I actually had an E1705 a couple months back, but sent it back because it was borked.

And also, about the x1400 card that is in it. It uses hypermemory, so the 256mb is actually 128mb dedicated and it takes another 128mb from your system RAM. It'll push 2000 in 3dmark 05, but that's as far as it goes. Not enough power for me.
