God I feel so bad for my newbie owner in my money league.

I get a good close friend of mine to help me out and take the vacant team in my money league. Its a small 2 keeper league and I talk it up real nice n purty like.

So without hesitation he accepts. I help him with his draft list (he never even followed the NFL that much prior, so of course this is gonna be interesting) and prep him on league rules, some parts of the game of football, general drafting strategy, etc. etc. etc.

He comes out wih a nice team. Arguably one of the top 3 rosters going into the season.

And then it happens...

THE touch of death. Worst case I have ever seen.

He'll be the team no one wants to play, because he'll spoil their playoff chances, even if he can't make it himself.

Eh - people are gonna get hurt... just so happend they're all mine. Still learning a lot from runnin this team and awwchrist is keeping an eye on me. Thanks man. Can't complain though - I did win our league last week and that was sweet cause I won against the week 1 winner. I'm play'n awwchrist now and I don't think Shannon Sharpe is gonna put up 33 points needed to beat him tonight. Time to look for some temp replacements...

That is really bad luck, but people do get injured and at least he doesn't have Travis Henry and Marvin Harrison. (I have both) Vick will come back and do good. It is just a matter of time.

Horn's injury wasn't too severe..I think week 2 he was questionable up until gametime..

still though..compiund that with the Driver injury...made for a short roster to work with.
