Carolina Targeting LenDale White in 1st Round?

I was listening to a replay of a interview w/ LenDale on Sirius NFL ... and he said that coach Fox and company approached him at the USC combine, and told him if his hammy wasn't feeling it -- not to run.

Could this of been a maneuver to get his stock to fall to Carolina?

Personally, if Morency was available - I think I would take him ... but it would be pretty cool to see LenDale punching it in on the goal line.

Anyone else catch this interview?

I've heard this kind of rumors for a couple of days and I really don't buy into this. White sould know that he'd risk millions of dollars by choosing not to run at his pro day...

The simplest answers are in most cases the best ones. LenDale White just lacks passion.

I heard that interview as well, and it does sound like Carolina didn't really want him to up his stock any. He also said that a big deal was made about his weight, and how he is way over his "playing weight", but he said that he had played games heavier than he is now (and played some of his best games heavy). I think Carolina probably realizes that the film is the important part and the film says he should be close to a top 10 pick. It doesn't sound like he is going to fall past Carolina.
