The best part about a sig request is acually making the sig. If the user doesnt sport the sig, it is NOT a total waste. You still have it saved in your computer right? You haven't really lost the sig.

The more you make, the more you get better.

BUT, I do understand your point flockers. It's happened to me a couple of times.

I absolutely understand where you coming from flockers ... I've certainly had it happen to me a time or two.

However, as stated above ... I love the variations in the request. There are so many different things that people want, and the challenge of filling that request to their standards is what makes it worth it to me.

Plus, I have noticed that when someone with say between 1-10 posts ask for a sig, and it is filled. Their post count goes up much faster (hence, contributing to the cafe's success). I truely believe, when someone joins ... and starts posting, they see these sigs and decide they really want one. By getting that sig that they wanted, they end up posting more. Kind of like a feeling of "fitting in" type thing.

I don't know ... maybe it's just me. Plus I love the practice ... I'm always challenged to get better with every request.
