No matter how much you hate your neighbor's cat...

... it's best to leave it alone.

Police: Angry neighbor has cat euthanized

WEST ISLIP, New York (AP)
-- A man who didn't get along with his neighbor trapped her cat in his back yard and then took it to an animal shelter to be euthanized, police said.

Regina Fagone searched the neighborhood for two days earlier this month after her cat disappeared, and then went to the Town of Islip Animal Shelter.

Employees there broke the news to her: Her cat, a Russian blue, had been euthanized that day.

Richard DeSantis, 56, was arrested Saturday and was charged with criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property and making a punishable false written statement, police said. He was issued a desk appearance ticket and will be arraigned June 5.

DeSantis, reached by telephone at his home Sunday, said there are two sides to every story and then hung up.

Police said an investigation found DeSantis had captured the cat and dropped it off at the shelter to be killed.

Thanks for the heads up Knapp.
My neighbor's cat is just about down to its ninth life. :-#

The guy in the story messed up by taking the cat to an animal shelter. He should have went the Soprano's way. }:-)

This story reminds me of a Reno 911 episode....The cops get called to a house and the owner (actually a fed up neighbor) asks them to shoot his dog because he's old....Garcia shoots it, 5 seconds later, the real owner comes home and flips out....lol

Oh, and this pick is hilarious...

Cats piss me off.. I've hated cats my entire life..

My grandma has a cat, I think I've seen it once for about 3 seconds, it hides under beds, and inside shelfs.. It has never seen daylight..

Try this sometime:

-Get two cats.
-Tie their tails together with a shoelace.
-Find a clothesline.
-Throw the cats over the clothesline.
-Be entertained.

This story is almost as good as the guy who shot his neighbors dog because it was on his yard. Happened a year or 2 ago I think.

I would bet that happens every day somewhere here in America.

There are a lot of pissed-off people in this country - pissed off at other people's pets!

If only I'd thought of that idea earlier. God, I hate cats with a passion. :-t

I love cats. I've had them my entire life so I don't really find this funny.
