Debate: The worst multi-year QB starter for an NFL team

With all the Joey Harrington talk, this one came to mind. So who is the worst QB that has played 3 or more consecutive seasons (want to weed out rookies/ projects) with a single team

My vote NYG Dave Brown - his reign of terror was aweful

I forget how many years Rodney Peete started for the Eagles (it was around 3 if memory serves). All I know is 1 game was too many starts for him.

Geez, the Bears came immediately to mind, but then I saw the part about being three consectutive years, and with the same team and I can't remember anyone since, well, maybe Erik Kramer to play that long, and he was far from the worst out there. Joey just might be it, because other busts like Leaf didn't play very long. I guess Boller isn't so hot either.

People can Joey bash all they want, but he has been no worse than Rick Mirer.

I would go for anyone who QB'ed the Colts in the 80s. Jack Trudeau's 41% completion percentage will ever be immortalized in TecmoBowl for the NES. Although really Mike Pagel was no better.

Speaking of Lions quarterbacks, Scott Mitchell was pretty awful when he started. He had one good fluke season, but other than that he stunk.

Did Mirer start for three consecutive seasons on the same team though? He may have in SEA, but I can't remember.

He was the starter in Sea all 4 years, John Friesz playing the role of Jeff Garcia.

Another one... Tony Banks Rams...

He would have awesome flashes of brilliance and game breaking plays... only to be followed up with mediocrity.

Sound like anyone we know (*cough* Vick *cough*-- please don't flame me). O:-)

Don't worry about me flaming you...I'm onboard with you concerning Vick.

How about...Kordel Stewart? Loads of talent, but horrible decision maker.

*cough* vick *cough*
