Arrington Signs With Giants

Postby Dexter II » Sat Apr 22, 2006 12:47 pm

Any thoughts on how this signing impacts the Giants approach to the first round of the draft?

It seems they addressed needs at LB and CB. Do they look still look for help at these positions early in the draft?

I guess at this point they go with best player available and considering the depth of the draft between late 1st and early 2nd I wouldn't be opposed to them trading down.

Maybe a WR to eventually take over for Toomer?

One idea discussed recently was that the Giants should trade for Javon Walker. That would provide for a pretty potent offense provided he is fully recovered from last year's knee injury. Probably not realistic but interesting to consider.
